Insta360 Brings Insta360 Air, A 360-Degree Camera For Android

Insta360, the China-based company, has announced another camera in their lineup. It is also a 360-Degree camera that can clip onto your smartphone. This allows you to record or live stream video in 360-degrees. The company calls this as “Insta360 Air”. You can also take HD pictures apart from the videos. Insta360 already has a product especially for iPhones called Nano, and the company states that this camera is specifically designed for the Android devices.

Insta360 Air gives users the ability to live stream on the YouTube. However, there is no support for Facebook Live yet, and it is expected to be on in near future as Facebook is doing a lot to bring 360-degree videos to more users. Still, users can share their videos, pictures on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and other social media platforms.  The Insta360 Air sports and advanced 210-degree dual fish-eye lens and it does also use real-time stitching so that you can see everything in the shot. The Insta360 Air offers 3K resolution stills and 2K video. It does support 3K video on few smartphones like Samsung Galaxy S7. This mean that you can get the same resolution like most other 360-degree cameras out in the market but much smaller and even more portable.

Insta360 Air was keeping a target of $20,000 started out on Indiegogo, but it has already surpassed that amount. This device is still available to purchase through Indiegogo InDemand and priced at $99. It will be priced $119 when it lands on Amazon and Insta360’s official online store. That’s a quite expensive than other clip cameras in the market now, but this is essentially two clip-on cameras in one. If you are a big fan of virtual reality, this camera is going to be pretty important for you. Insta360 Air is available in four colors, Matte Black, White, Silver, and rich gold.
