New Report Reveals Specs Of Nokia E1

Nokia, the Finnish company which has been bought by Microsoft a few years back, have stopped manufacturing of devices. Later, HMD Global purchased rights to release Nokia branded smartphones from Microsoft. Now, the Finnish company is said to be gearing up to release a bunch of Nokia branded smartphones this year. All these devices are supposed to be running on Android. One among those group of devices happens to be the alleged Nokia E1. Let’s get into the matter, read on:

From the past few months, there are many leaks about these Finnish company devices reportedly Nokia D1 or Nokia D1C. Along with them, leaks regarding Nokia E1 have emerged too. According to the previous leak, Nokia E1 is supposed to ship with 5.5-inch display fueling by a chipset from Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 series. It is also said to be shipped with only 1GB of RAM and Android 7.0 Nougat. But, a different leak emerged in the tech circles. As per the new rumor, the Nokia E1 will sport either 5.2-inch or 5.3-inch HD display. Under the hood, it will come with a Quad-core Qualcomm 425 processor clocked at 1.4GHz coupled with Adreno 308 GPU for the handling of graphics. For the storage part, the device will ship with 16GB of internal storage accompanied with 2GB of RAM. Nokia E1 will sport a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front snapper, and this is expected to ship with Android 7.0 Nougat.

As per the reports, the HMD Global is supposed to release either 6 or 7 Nokia devices this year which include a tablet. This device is expected to be released during the Q1, 2017. This device will be priced around $150 as it is planned to be a player in the mid-range smartphone market. Possibly, this will be announced at MWC 2017.
